This pineapple carrot orange smoothie is just perfect for all of you who have a busy schedule, or don’t like hardcore green smoothies, but still wants to consume your daily veggies. It is easy to camouflage the taste of carrots with delicious sweet pineapple and orange. You could easily outwit a kid with that. They will have no idea they are drinking veggies. Just put your ingredients in a blender and your nutritive meal will be ready in no time. If you want to have two colors like in the picture, first blend the pineapple with water and pour it into a glass, then blend carrots and orange with water and pour over the pineapple layer into a glass as well.
- ½ of whole pineapple
- 1 carrot
- 1 orange
- 2 cups (about 470 ml) of water
- Blend the pineapple, carrot, orange, and water in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
Just wondering if I could substitute almond milk for the water in this recipe. Thanks in advance.
Hi. Depends on your taste. Personally I wouldn’t do that. I love almond milk but I use it in creamy smoothies with sweet fruits like banana. You can make smaller portion and see if you like it.
